It’s No Bull—The Nike WMNS Air Footscape Woven “White Cow” Just Dropped

Real fur is usually regarded as unacceptable these days—but this "replica" works just as well.

Nike’s just launched the third of four expected 2024 colorways for the Footscape Woven. The Nike WMNS Air Footscape Woven “White Cow” is a faux fur colorway that looks and feels every bit like the real deal without any of the ethical drawbacks.

To deliver a visual effect of a spotted cow, this sneaker featured sail-tinted spots in front of a white background. Adding depth to the design are white weaves and laces placed across the upper of the shoe.

The inner linings and outsole are black, making the shoe a more fitting match with a wider range of outfits. The black portions also add visual contrast.

But the bovine-inspired spots are just the tip of the iceberg. White weaves and laces intricately wend their way across the shoe’s upper, adding texture and visual interest to the design. To round off this unique look, the outsole and inner linings are rendered in a dignified deep black, lending the shoe both versatility and gravitas.

The Nike WMNS Air Footscape Woven “White Cow” was released on 28 February 2024. Available in women’s sizing, one pair sells for US$160.
