Although things haven’t exactly gone according to plan thus far this season for Trae Young and his Atlanta Hawks team, he’s still killing it as far as his signature shoes are concerned. The launch of the adidas Trae Young 3 “Black White Yellow” will be much-anticipated due to the sneaker’s innovative features and forward-thinking designs.

This “Black White Yellow” features an engineered knit upper that makes use of a digital camouflage pattern. That pattern transitions from white to grey to black toward the ankle.

On the base, there are yellow highlights on three areas: the nylon pull tabs at the tongue, the same tabs at the heel, and the Three Stripes logo on the midfoot. The heel’s TPU counter features a watermelon-esque gradient to reduce visual monotony and add contrast.

The lateral side of the Three Stripes logo has a graffiti-inspired design that makes its way onto the while sole unit. For additional visual contrast, the medial side is completely orange.

Other portions of the shoe include a white midsole and a red-and-orange rubber outsole designed to maximize traction. In general, the “Black White Yellow” combines elements that blend functionality and aesthetics.

The lateral side of the Three Stripes brandishes a graffiti-inspired design that bleeds onto the white sole unit. In contrast, the medial side opts for a solid orange, creating a visually striking effect. The heel’s TPU counter also sports a watermelon-like gradient, adding a splash of color and contrast to the design.

The ensemble is rounded off with a pristine white midsole and a rubber outsole featuring red and orange hues, ensuring aesthetic appeal and functional grip on the court.

The adidas Trae Young 3 “Black White Yellow” will be released later in 2024 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, its retail price is US$140.
