While the flame of the late Virgil Abloh’s life may have dimmed, it continues to burn through his Off-White label via posthumous releases; the latest of which is The Baller sneaker, marking the brand’s first foray into basketball footwear.

The Baller features a unique upper crafted from pebbled leather that mimics the texture of a basketball, inclusive of the black lines that demarcate the panels.

Typically Off-White, retro typography and ironic phrases like “AUTOGRAPH HERE” and “FOR ANKLE BREAKERS ONLY” are imprinted on the upper; with more character introduced through Off-White’s signature branding alongside the orange rubberized toe cap and rubber outsole.

Polarizing as much as intriguing, Off-White’s The Baller will debut as part of the Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh presents FW24 “BLACK BY POPULAR DEMAND” by Art and Image Director Ib Kamara. Watch the show live on off—white.com on 29 February, 11:30 AM (CET)/5:30AM (ET).
