The Nike Air Force 1 Next Nature “Oil Green” Is Literally and Figuratively Green
We have to mention the obvious irony of an eco-friendly shoe having the word "oil" in its name.
Nike’s eco-friendly Next Nature sneakers have been among the company’s most promoted shoes so far this year. The upcoming drop of the Nike Air Force 1 Next Nature “Oil Green” will be no different.
The titular color dominates the leather upper and overlays. Like most other examples of Air Force 1 colorblocking, contrasting shades are present on the sole, Swoosh, and tongue tag.
The lower portion of the sneaker comes in white, once again mimicking the majority of Air Force 1 color schemes. Finally, small speckles imply that the shoe contains recycled materials.
An exact release date for the Nike Air Force 1 Next Nature “Oil Green” isn’t out yet; however, it’s been confirmed that it will be available at local retailers, online, and on the Nike website. The retail price tag is US$115.
