Nike has taken a more measured approach so far this year as far as the releases of Nike Air Max 90 LV8 colorways are concerned. That being said, among these few colorways, one of the most popular was a Valentine’s Day sneaker featuring beige and rose hues. Following on from this success, Nike will be releasing the Nike WMNS Air Max 90 LV8 “Sail/Red/Pink”.

Like other LV8 sneakers, the “Sail/Red/Pink” features a doubled-up Air unit and extra-large midsole to differentiate it from mainline Air Max 90 sneakers. The shoe’s color-blocking in general, meanwhile, mimics that of the Valentine’s Day iteration.

The “Sail/Red/Pink” features pink and red shades across the midsole, mudguard, and lined lace panels. The rest of the sneaker makes use of minimalistic aesthetics, primarily in sail and white.

There’s also a medial Swoosh which gives the shoe an iridescent and reflective effect. Although this effect is somewhat muted, it nevertheless stands out and highlights the unique look of this sneaker.

Where this release really stands out, though, is in the medial Swoosh, which takes on an iridescent, reflective shift in its materials. The rainbow tones that follow the change in medium are resultantly low-key, but still serve well as a central highlight to help these become all the more eye-catching.

There hasn’t yet been a confirmed release date for the Nike Air Max 90 LV8 “Sail/Red/Pink”. Available in women’s sizing, its retail price is US$140.
