Rep the Tar Heels With the Nike Jordan 6 Rings “UNC”
Released and restocked in time for March Madness.
The much-maligned Jordan 6 Rings is a sneaker that’s taken much unfair criticism. Frequently compared to classic Jordan silhouettes, many claim that the 6 Rings “doesn’t stack up”. Perhaps, however, public perception might change with the newly-released Nike Jordan 6 Rings “UNC”.
Many Jordan 6 Rings silhouettes haven’t quite been able to stand out because their colorways have been the same as those of the classic silhouettes. These include “Bred”, “Concord”, and “Space Jam”—but the “UNC” could very well reverse this trend.
Referencing Michael Jordan’s stint playing for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels, the “UNC” features a White base and Valour Blue details. Apt for its theme, it was released in conjunction with (and restocked for) the upcoming March Madness tournament.
The Nike Jordan 6 Rings “UNC” was released on Nike.com on 19 February 2024 and restocked on 20 February 2024. Each pair sells for US$170.
