The iconic Nike Air Max 1 is getting a fresh spring makeover with the “Pure Platinum” edition. A love letter to the 1987 original, it blends classic vibes with a modern twist that is similar to a classic car reborn with a metallic paint job.

The colorway gets underway with a pristine white mesh base that sets the stage, accented by smooth Light Smoke Grey suede overlays that whisper luxury. Pure Platinum magic gleams through the tumbled leather Swoosh and mudguards, like a polished gem catching the light.

The iconic visible Air unit nestled in the Sail midsole nods to its heritage, while a durable rubber outsole ensures these kicks grip any terrain.

The highly-anticipated Nike Air Max 1 ’87 “Pure Platinum” is a celebration of heritage and a nod to the future, all with an RRP of US$140. They are slated to drop at select Nike Sportswear retailers and online this Spring 2024.
