The Nike WMNS Air Jordan 1 Low SE Channels Punk Rock with “Cement Grey/Field Purple” Release
Even Johnny Rotten and Jello Biafra themselves would be impressed.
[Update 27 Feb 2024] The Nike WMNS Air Jordan 1 Low SE will be released with an official colorway listed as “Cement Grey/Field Purple”. While the name itself doesn’t evoke a punk rock vibe, the shoe’s design will still lean towards that aesthetic when it drops this summer for US$115.

Channeling the influence of punk rock fashion, Jordan Brand is coming out with the Nike WMNS Air Jordan 1 Low SE. The sneaker most specifically calls back to the punk rock scene of the ’70s.
The shoe’s base of white, black, and purple is well-paired with metallic silver and a quarter panel. The “AIR” on the tongue and “23” on the lace stay are printed in a sharp font typical of many ’70s punk rock bands’ aesthetic.
The laces have metallic jewelry hanging from them. The jewelry is a nod to the Chrome Hearts aesthetic that’s rapidly gaining in popularity.
The Nike WMNS Air Jordan 1 Low SE will be released in the summer of 2024. One pair will go for US$115.
