The Nike Air Max Scorpion “Cloudy Grey” Stings With Futuristic Style
This "Cloudy Grey" beast could stalk the streets, cloaked in recycled swagger.
[Update 8 Apr 2024] The Nike Air Max Scorpion “Cloudy Grey” has officially dropped on 7 April via Japanese fashion retailer GR8. Head over to cop yours now as sizes are selling out!
The Nike Air Max Scorpion, a futuristic beast born amidst the pandemic, re-emerges, this time cloaked in a sleek all-grey look.
Forget subtle hints, the shoe’s structure screams “future” with its avant-garde design. But if that wasn’t enough, the digital, braille-like branding adds another layer of futuristic flair.
Plush shag tops it off, creating a truly unique and incomparable silhouette that pulls inspiration from every corner of tomorrow. Not everyone can handle it, but if you crave uniqueness, the Scorpion is dialed in to your frequency.
Taking inspiration from the “Phantom” release, the “Cloudy Grey” version keeps things cool and monochromatic, with a few key twists. The translucent sole gets swapped for a grippy matte rubber, making these kicks even more ready for everyday wear.
Plus, like all good Scorpions, they’re made with at least 25% recycled materials, so you can feel good about rocking them too.
No official release date yet, but expect the Nike Air Max Scorpion “Cloudy Grey” to slither onto shelves sometime next month. They are rumored to retail at US$250.
