Get Nostalgic for 1997 With the Nike Air Jordan 12 Retro SP “White/Baroque Brown”
Collaboration? Premium version? Something else? We'll soon find out—so stay with us.
During the 1996-97 NBA season, Michael Jordan wore the Air Jordan 12 on his way to one of his six NBA championship rings—giving the sneaker an unquestionable placed in Jordan Brand lore. This legacy is about to be extended with the upcoming release of the Nike Air Jordan 12 Retro SP “White/Baroque Brown”.
Since the “SP” in the sneaker’s name is an acronym for “special project”, details might soon emerge about either a collaboration or a new version with premium materials, for example. It will be released alongside a slew of other much-hyped retro Jordan sneakers.
The “White Baroque Brown” is expected to feature a White upper to be matched with Baroque Brown accents. There’ll also likely be the signature faux reptile mudguard in the same Baroque Brown hue.
Even more Baroque Brown will most likely be seen on the Jordan branding, sockliner, and pull tab. A brown and white midsole blends with a tonal outsole to elevate the sneaker’s overall aesthetic.
The Nike Air Jordan 12 Retro SP will be released in holiday 2024 at Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers. Exclusively available in men’s sizing, one pair will carry a price tag of US$225.
