One of many the Jumpman is delivering during the most wonderful time of the year.
[Update 18 Apr 2024] A new mockup of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Howard”, rendered according to the PE exclusive pair shared by @englishsole has now surfaced, courtesy of @zsneakerheadz. Check out the shots in the gallery above and anticipate a release of the pair, slated for 12 October.
Jordan Brand and Howard University are purported to release the Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Howard” this year. It will be the first time a Howard-themed AJ1 Low will be available to the public, a significant moment following the school’s historic 20-year deal with the Jumpman in 2022.
While the specific design details are still undisclosed, Sole Retriever‘s mockup suggest a colorway of White, Gym Red, Midnight Navy, Neutral Grey, Sail, and Muslin; a palette reminiscent of Howard University’s colors. While official Howard branding might not be included, the color scheme offers enough an homage to the institution.
The Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG “Howard” will join a stellar roster of Holiday 2024 releases, including the Jordan 9 “Olive”, Jordan 3 “Black Cement Reimagined”, and the classic Jordan 6 “Bred”.
Stay tuned for a firm release date and more images as we inch closer to Holiday 2024.
