The Nike Air Force 1 Low “White/Grey/Orange” Updates a Classic
A retooled classic for a new era.
With more than 2,000 styles in existence, the sheer volume of the Nike Air Force 1 Low’s catalog is almost unfathomable. However, in a way the silhouette has been a victim of its own success—to keep it current and fresh, every new sneaker will need its own unique traits. Hence, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “White/Grey/Orange” includes a familiar (but slightly tweaked) take on its traditional colorblocking.
The “White/Grey/Orange” is intended to be a variation on the classic model. That being said, while it might not be directly related to offshoot Air Force 1 sneaker lines, it nevertheless possesses some of their features.
The “White/Grey/Orange” references the Air Force 1 Utility through its mesh anterior panel as well as its pull tab behind the sock liner. There’s also a double Swoosh that’s a shout-out to the Air Force 1 Shadow.
The sneaker’s primarily grayscale color scheme is broken up by tastefully placed bits of orange. These can be seen on the smaller Swoosh and the branding.
Although the exact release date of the Nike Air Force 1 Low “White/Grey/Orange” hasn’t yet been confirmed, its retail price has—US$115 per pair.
