The Nike GS Air Jordan 1 Mid “Inspired by the Greatest” Daringly Deviates From Color Norms
No matter what one might think about the GOAT debate, there's no disputing that these sneakers are a fitting tribute to Michael Jordan.
Jordan Brand has honored Michael Jordan in a somewhat unconventional way with the release of the Nike GS Air Jordan 1 Mid “Inspired by the Greatest”. Unlike many Air Jordan sneakers, the GS-exclusive “Inspired by the Greatest” doesn’t use the classic Chicago Bulls colors.
This colorway instead utilizes a Glacier Blue and Aquatone combination. It’s this unique color scheme that’ll make this sneaker a clear standout no matter where or when it’s worn.
The shoe also includes Velcro Swooshes as well as Air Jordan patches that truly round out the sneaker’s overall look.
The Nike GS Air Jordan 1 Mid “Inspired by the Greatest” was released on 9 February 2024 and is sold on Nike.com and by select retailers. Its retail price is US$120.
