This past weekend, Salomon entered the spotlight at New York Fashion Week, hosting an exclusive event at the USM Modular Furniture store in SoHo.
In collaboration with A Clean Lit Space and Rarify, the event showcased “Cascades,” a traveling custom USM sculpture transformed into a footwear display, bathed in a sunset gradient and featuring 10 unreleased Salomon Sportstyle models set to launch in the upcoming months.
Attendees were treated to a first look at fresh colorways and revived archival models, including the waterproof GORE-TEX lined XT-6 in sleek black with silver accents and the versatile XT-4 in four dynamic color schemes, from earthy browns, and tans to vibrant wheats, yellows, blues, and corals.
The spotlight also shone on the X-ALP, a robust hiking shoe making a comeback with bold lugged soles and hefty rubber toe caps, previously exclusive to collaborations with The Broken Arm. The showcased X-ALP variations included a grey, tan, and green upper with sky blue and purple accents, alongside a lighter white and tan version.
Racing into the mix, the neon yellow and bright red Speedcross 3 promised speed and style, while the XT-Slate offered unique color combinations, reminiscent of Dragon Ball Z characters with its blend of tan, soft pink, light purple, steel grey, black, and sandy tan.
Stay tuned for official release dates and prepare to step into Salomon’s next chapter of sportstyle footwear.
