Baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr. has released another entry in his signature shoe line. The GS Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Miami Hurricanes” may seemingly have a somewhat unexpected theme to some; nonetheless, its unique aesthetic almost certainly makes it more than legit.

The sneaker’s vivid color palette of Fir, Bright Mandarin, White, and Vapor Green is placed on classic materials. There’s also a white leather base which serves as the perfect foil for dark green nubuck overlays.

The Bright Mandarin on the Nike Swoosh and accents on the outsole and midsole radiate passion and energy. Finally, Vapor Green adorns the number 24 on the velcro strap, embroidery, lace loops, and tongue pull.

On 24 February 2024, the Nike GS Air Griffey Max 1 “Miami Hurricanes” becomes available on Nike.com at a price of US$130 per GS sizing-exclusive pair.
