Nike’s been showing the classic Air Max 1 silhouette some serious love recently, dropping clean colorways that stay true to the Tinker Hatfield OG design. From the iconic ’86 “Big Bubble” to a fresh take on “University Blue“, they’ve been hitting all the right notes. Now, they are giving the ladies something special with the brand new Nike Air Max 1 ’87 “Metallic Platinum/Pink Rise”.

The shoe shimmers in metallic platinum with breathable mesh underneath and stylish, punched leather on top. Crisp white laces and a sockliner keep it fresh, while pops of hot pink add a fun twist. This pink pops up on the Swoosh, mudguard, eyelets, tongue tag, heel, insoles, and even the air bubble in the back – making a statement without being too flashy.

Dropping Summer 2024, the Nike Air Max 1 ’87 “Metallic Platinum/Pink Rise” will be available online and in-store at Nike and select retailers. Priced at US$140 and coming in women’s sizes, they are expected to be a fan favorite. Stay tuned to SNKRDUNK Magazine for the official release date!
