The Nike ACG Air Exploraid “Ash Green” Is 25 Years in the Making
This shoe will surely win over trail runners today just as it did all those years ago.
In 1999, the Nike ACG Air Exploraid captured the imaginations of trail runners everywhere. A quarter of a century after it first shot to fame, Nike is positioning it for a comeback in the form of the Nike ACG Air Exploraid “Ash Green”.
The original sneaker’s sturdy build and high comfort level caused both trail runners and collectors to hold it in high regard. The Nike ACG Air Exploraid “Ash Green” brings back several major features of the original. These include a neoprene inner bootie to ensure a snug fit, a Nike Air unit in the heel for cushioning, and a mesh wrapping on the midsole in the forefoot area for improved breathability.
The Nike ACG Air Exploraid “Ash Green” is the first of two colorways in which the revived ACG Air Exploraid will come. The second will be the “Orewood Brown”.
The ACG Air Exploraid will be available on Nike.com starting from 13 February 2024. Each pair will cost US$140.
