Konami has been making it a point to honor the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG), and the upcoming release of the Quarter Century Chronicle side:Unity booster pack is the latest tribute to this milestone.

Quarter Century Chronicle side:Unity booster pack is the first of a pair of themed booster packs. The second will be the Quarter Century Chronicle side:Pride booster pack which will be released one month later.

Both booster packs contain cards that have been used by and associated with various iconic characters across the Yu-Gi-Oh! Franchise. The cards in both booster packs have also been selected with an eye towards tournament play. Cards and themes commonly used in tournaments over the years are included, increasing the competitive viability of both booster packs.

There are 200 cards in Quarter Century Chronicle side:Unity in total, of which ordinarily, 119 are Super Rare, 80 are Ultra Rare, and one is Quarter Century Secret Rare. However, to add to the hype, 60 cards will also be available in an Ultimate Rare form—and every single card in the set comes in a Quarter Century Secret Rare form as well!

That’s not all—exclusively for an uber-lucky 1,000 buyers chosen at random, the pack comes with a side:Unity Token card. The card’s serial code can be used to apply for the Quarter Century Unity & Pride Campaign. Token cards from purchases in Japan give owners access to Quarter Century Secret Rare copies of “Dark Magician” and “Dark Magician Girl” while those from purchases in other Asia-Pacific countries grant the owners “Magikuriboh” and “Dark Magician Girl the Dragon Knight” cards of the same rarity.

Quarter Century Chronicle side:Unity booster packs will be released in Japan on 23 February 2024 at a price of ¥385 (~US$2.60) per 4-card pack. A box of packs will contain 15 booster packs.
