With the fifth movie of the Toy Story franchise in the works, Crocs will be getting a jump on the cinematic release by releasing not one, but two collaborations with the franchise—Toy Story x Crocs Classic Clog “Buzz Lightyear” and “Woody”. Both are among a slew of Crocs releases which are collaborations with iconic media franchises.
The Toy Story x Crocs Classic Clog “Buzz Lightyear” is enrobed in the character’s green and purple color scheme; the buttons found on his spacesuit are placed across the shoe. Jibbitz charms depict Buzz Lightyear’s space suit packaging, deployable wings, and the words “To infinity and beyond”—the character’s signature quote.
The shoe’s right footbed features Andy’s handwritten name—a reference to the movie. As a final touch, Buzz Lightyear stickers adorn the white sole unit.
The Toy Story x Crocs Classic Clog “Woody”, meanwhile, includes a tan and brown flannel design on the sole unit as well as a cow print pattern on the upper portion to evoke Woody’s overall look. A red bandana pattern leads up to a brown sports mode strap to give the shoe additional resemblance to the character.
Just like its “Buzz Lightyear” counterpart, the “Woody” version includes Andy’s handwritten name in the right footbed. To finish off the general aesthetic, there are Jibbitz charms depicting Woody’s name, belt buckle, sheriff’s star, and hat.
Both the “Buzz Lightyear” and “Woody” Toy Story x Crocs Classic Clog will be released later in 2024 through Crocs and select retailers online and in-store. Neither an official release date nor retail price has yet been confirmed.
