The debut colorway of the Jordan Tatum 2, the second signature shoe line of Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, is about to drop. In a sentimental tribute, Tatum chose to honor his close bond with his mother through the upcoming release of the Nike Jordan Tatum 2 “Momma’s Boy”.

The shoe contains two visual elements that refer to Tatum’s mother. Volt accents allude to her favorite color while prints of white calla lilies, her favorite flower, encircle the sneaker. These elements have been seamlessly fit into this mainly black-and-white sneaker.

The Jordan Tatum 2 “Momma’s Boy” is gentle on the feet. With its emphasis on functionality and physical comfort, this sneaker is the lightest of all shoes in Jordan Brand’s performance category. High-impact areas of the foot are protected by textile pods and foam—ideal for countering strain that the feet might experience. There’s also a full-length Air Strobel unit for an improved underfoot experience. Finally, the shoe supplies traction and stability through the outsole’s modified herringbone pattern.

Sold by Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store, the Nike Jordan Tatum 2 “Momma’s Boy” will be released on 5 March 2024. It’s only available in men’s sizing and has a US$125 retail price.
