Pokémon Card Game enters the new year with a bang. Coming on 26 January is another mainline expansion release in the Scarlet & Violet era: Wild Force [SV5K] and Cyber Judge [SV5M]. This follows the same twin-set release model as Ancient Roar [SV5K] and Future Flash [SV5M].

Revealed during the Japan 2024 Champions League Kyoto livestream, Wild Force and Cyber Judge will continue the Trading Card Game’s (TCG) Ancient and Future Pokémon focus.

Ancient Pokémon such as Gouging Fire ex, Walking Wake ex, and Raging Bolt ex will feature in Wild Force, while Future compatriots such as Iron Leaves ex, Iron Crown ex, and Iron Boulder ex are set to make their debut in Cyber Judge.

Here’s what we know about Wild Force and Cyber Judge thus far.

The current ninth generation of Pokémon is chock-full of call-backs and shout-outs to the second and fifth generations respectively—and these SARs continue the trend. Johto Gym Leader Morty makes an appearance in an SAR card, depicting the Ghost-type specialist beside his signature Pokémon Gengar.

However, with all due respect to Morty’s Confidence, the bigger prize here has to be Bianca’s Sincerity. Female characters and rivals have always been fan favorites, and Bianca is both. The card’s soft, gentle art style adds to its aura, and as a card depicting a past-generation character, there’s even a nostalgia factor in play. Expect this card to be one of the, if not the single, most coveted of the entire set.

Pokémon Card Game Wild Force [SV5K] & Cyber Judge [SV5M] Set List: What’s New?

While the full card list for Pokémon TCG Wild Force [SV5K] and Cyber Judge [SV5M] has yet to be revealed, the return of a powerful mechanic has been confirmed: ACE SPEC cards. These were first introduced in the Black & White era, and have been teased to return in Wild Force and Cyber Judge. There can only be one of any kind in a deck and comes in a unique magenta-colored design.

As mentioned above, SV5K and SV5M will also focus heavily on Ancient and Future Pokémon from the recent Scarlet & Violet games. Along with the Pokémon mentioned above, Flutter Mane and Iron Thorns are also confirmed to make their debut in Wild Force and Cyber Judge.

Pokémon Wild Force [SV5K] and Cyber Judge [SV5M] will each contain 71 cards in their set list (excluding SR cards or better). As per usual, each Booster Box will include 30 packs, with each pack containing 5 cards.

What are Rare Pokémon Cards From Wild Force [SV5K] & Cyber Judge [SV5M]

Wild Force [SV5K]

For Wild Force [SV5K], the titular Raging Bolt ex, Walking Wake ex, and Gouging Fire ex have been revealed to come as SARs. For those who are familiar with older Pokémon series, they are indeed the “ancestors” of Raikou, Suicune, and Entei.

All three contain some of the most mesmerizing artwork in the Scarlet & Violeta era thus far, which has seen fans raving over the detailed designs online. While there’s no Charizard in this batch, expect these three to be some of the rarest and most expensive Pokémon cards from Wild Force once it releases.

Other Ancient Pokémon confirmed as ARs in the set are Reuniclus, Flutter Mane, and Relincanth.

Cyber Judge [SV5M]

On Cyber Judge’s [SV5M] end, their Future Pokémon compatriots Iron Boulder ex, Iron Crown ex, and Iron Leaves ex take center stage for the set.

Also revealed as an AR is Shiftry and the much beloved Iron Thorns, which is of course the Future version of the popular Tyranitar. Expect the pull rates for these to be incredibly difficult too.

Pokemon TCG Cyber Judge SV4M

Waifu collectors should also take note of Cyber Judge. Bianca, the in-game rival of the protagonist in Pokémon Black & White, will be included in the set. While only a regular Supporter card has been revealed thus far, expect her to be featured as the set’s SAR in due time.

Unfortunately, at present time, no UR gold Pokémon cards nor SRs have been revealed for either set.
