Following the “Scorpius” and “Rosewater” colorways teased earlier, Action Bronson takes a more nuanced approach with his latest New Balance 1906R collaboration, the “Medusa Azúl.”
Blue hues predominantly wash over the mesh and synthetic upper. Bronson himself hinted at the MO with a simple “Depth” caption on his Instagram Stories, alluding to a seemingly layered concept as he’s done with last year’s 990v6 “BAKLAVA”.
Earthy brown accents on the midfoot and grey on the tongue add warmth, while pops of black through the heel cage, mudguard, and boot-inspired laces tie everything together.
The “Medusa Azúl” palette and moniker subtly reference Bronson’s 2023 “Lapis Lazuli” 990v6 collab, showcasing his fondness for blue hues. Underfoot sees two-tone Abzorb midsoles and blue-gum outsoles providing both comfort and style, while finishing off the pair.
The official release date remains under wraps, but expect the “Medusa Azúl” to make waves later this year. Stay tuned for updates!
