A “Chlorophyll” Touch Refreshes the Iconic Nike Air Max 1
Just a hint of green, in contrast to its monochromatic upper.
The Nike Air Max 1, a brainchild of the legendary Tinker Hatfield, remains a cornerstone of Nike’s legacy. Since its debut in 1987, it has undergone countless iterations and collaborations, yet its timeless design continues to captivate audiences. The latest addition to its lineage is the Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll.”
This iteration features a Summit White canvas base layer. The tonal profile Swooshes, crafted from premium leather, seamlessly blends into the white canvas, creating a cohesive and elegant aesthetic.
To break up the monochromatic palette, a subtle yet impactful pop of Chlorophyll green graces the eyelets and the tongue tag.
Completing the design is the Black that claims the circumference of the shoe’s lower half. The mudguards, heel, and sole unit all in uniform, providing a grounding contrast and highlighting the clean lines of the upper.
They’re expected to arrive in the spring next year with an RRP of US$150. Enjoy the official images in the gallery above as we await more updates about a firm release date!
