[Update 26 Mar 2024] A gang of product images from the Supreme Shanghai Store have surfaced, thanks to @le.syndrome. These include a Shanghai Box Logo hoodie and T-shirt, a collegiate-style Shanghai sweater, and a host of other tops, bottoms, caps, and accessories.

Notably, the Shanghai Box Logo design has a leopard print background, and the new Supreme store’s address, printed in Chinese and English, is displayed on the back of its corresponding T-shirt and hoodie. The address is even more significant because it’s the same one that Supreme Italia used. Call it poetic justice.

[Update 22 Mar 2024] Official photos of the Supreme Shanghai store are in—fresh off the press. Some noteworthy things include the huge bowl which pays homage to the brand’s roots in skate culture, Kaws x Supreme artwork, and many photo backdrop-worthy walls.

Opening day as well as the Supreme WeChat mini Program are fast-approaching on 23 March 2024 at 10AM (CST). In the meantime, enjoy the images in the gallery above!

[Update 20 Mar 2024] Special store-opening Box Logo T-shirts and hoodies are expected on the big day—23 March 2024. Mockup images of what they might look like have cropped up, courtesy of @dropsgg. [Update 18 Mar 2024] In a recent Instagram post by @supremenewyork, the quintessential American streetwear brand teased the opening of its new flagship store in Shanghai.

The caption reads: “Shanghai 2024”, and “Supreme Shanghai and Supreme WeChat Mini Program open on March 23rd at 10am”.

While no further information is available yet, we’ll be sure to keep you updated as soon as we get a whiff—so stay locked in!

[Update 6 Mar 2024] Facade images of Supreme’s store in Shanghai are now available courtesy of uptodate.tokyo. The store, located at 291 Fumin Road, Shanghai, is currently under construction and is projected to open during Spring/Summer 2024.

The thriving streetwear scene in China is finally set to see its own Supreme chapter, with an official store rumored to be opening in Shanghai. This information was brought to light by the reliable @dropsgg (with the help of @themacint0sh), and is a formal show of Supreme’s multi-million dollar triumph over one of its biggest “legal fake” rivals, Supreme Italia.

The counterfeit company previously held exclusive trademark rights and market authorization of the Supreme brand in China, allowing its plagerized products to parasitically fester and feed off Supreme NYC’s brand in the consumer market… All while the original brand was blocked from selling its own designs in the country.

But just weeks after the Italia copycat announced that it will open a multi-level store in Shanghai, the China Trade Market Office stripped the knock-off brand of its trademark status, likely in a bid to tighten the country’s copyright laws and shed its own “replica-lenient” reputation.

In a full circle moment (and with the help of its parent’s, VF Corp, legal strength), the Supreme brand will finally open doors in Shanghai’s 291 Fumin Road. This opening is reported to happen during 2024’s Spring/Summer season. While the brand has already accessed the Chinese market via a shop-in-shop at Beijing’s Dover Street Market, this marks Supreme’s first official store in the country and comes after their recent store opening in Seoul, Korea.

And yes, the Shanghai store will also come with its own country-exclusive Box Logo t-shirts and hoodies. As always, @dropsgg has provided a mock-up of what to expect, but further details will likely only surface when we break into 2024.
