Reminiscent of Travis Scott's "Black Phantom", isn't it?

The archetypal Nike Air Jordan 1 Low has far transcended its pedigree as an on-court option, even transcending the reputation of its namesake. Now, it holds its own as a staple sneaker, adorned by casuals and connoisseurs alike, whether they’re into basketball or not.

For this latest iteration, the Peter Moore brainchild indulges in a dark grey palette. The muted hue juxtaposed against the decorative University Red stitching, a color synonymous with the silhouette. They adorn the forefoot, the spine, before proliferating the perimeter of the Jordan Wings debossed on the heel.

The design further deviates from its blueprint, foregoing its standard leather upper construction and rubber sole unit. It instead opts for use of recycled materials, inline with Nike’s “Move to Zero” initiative.

Details remain scant at the moment but more should emerge in the coming weeks. For now, they’re projected to be released within the year with an RRP of US$115. Stay tuned!
