Kevin Durant’s signature Nike KD 17 shoe is projected to release in Summer 2024, according to Complex. Based on the leaked renderings, the design borrows elements from the 1998 Foot Locker-exclusive Air Max Plus, with its wavy vertical lines reminiscent of the aforementioned’s thermoplastic veins.
For its specifications, the model’s purported to have Zoom cushioning at the forefoot, a TPU shank atop a Cushlon midsole, and a generative rubber outsole.
These two colorways may lead the charge: “Sunrise”, with its University Gold, Black, and Safety Orange palette; and another in White, Black, and Game Royal, inspired by the Orlando Magic and the Nike Air Penny line.
For now, the Nike KD 17 is priced at US$150. But stay tuned for more details and images to emerge in the coming months!
