PUMA Partners with Hajime Sorayama on 75th Anniversary Collection
The Japanese artist's signatures present on all the pieces of the celebratory footwear and apparel collection.
Swarovski (Creators Lab) recently honored PUMA’s 75th anniversary with a special bedazzled PUMA Suede. In continuance of the celebration, the German legacy sportswear brand has partnered up with renowned Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama for a collection of footwear and apparel.
Sorayama is known for his hyperrealistic paintings of robots and cyborgs, and his influence can be seen throughout the collection. The PUMA Clyde, for a start, is dressed in a silver metallic finish with gilded accents, while the Slipstream Mid features a more understated look.
Moreover, the collection also includes a variety of apparel pieces, such as puffer vests, zip-up shirts, and hoodies, all of which feature Sorayama’s reinterpreted Jumping Cat logo.
The Hajime Sorayama x PUMA collection will be available at PUMA.com and select retailers from 22 October.
