Nike’s ongoing Doernbecher Freestyle series has produced many unique interpolations of their classics. Going into its 19th edition, six more will be reimagined through the lens of inspiring OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital patients. Joining the Air Jordan 3 that surfaced earlier, the Nike Dunk High.

The titular pair boasts a spring-inspired palette with its pastel colors in tandem with the floral motifs on the textile overlays. Commemorative ribbons are embroidered on the lateral heels, while the tongue label showcases a unique cookie graphic presiding over the Swooshes.

Pink accents the eyestays, Swooshes on the profile, and sockliner. The aesthetic culminates over the motivational quote on the midsole’s heel: “She believed she could so she did,” inspired by the design’s maker.

The Nike Dunk High Doernbecher XIX will officially be unveiled on 27 October with a likely release in November 2023. They’re expected to be priced at US$125. Stay tuned for more details!
