In the 20 years of Eliud Kipchoge and Nike’s partnership, records were broken and the limits of human capabilities were reimagined. In celebration, comes the “EK Umoja Collection”.

The collection subsumes five pairs of running shoes: the Nike Alphafly 2, Nike Vaporfly 3, Nike Zoom Fly 5, Nike Pegasus 40, and Nike Victory track and field spikes; as well as a range of apparel, such as the Nike Windrunner, Nike Rise 365 Tee, Nike Stride shorts, and Nike Dri-FIT tops, and other activewear items.

“Umoja” stands for “unity” in Kipchoge’s native Swahili. “This collection represents the work done together as a running family and community,” Kipchoge explained.

The collection is primarily inspired by Kipchoge’s first 5000-meter world championship in Paris in 2003.

The pairs are dressed in a uniform palette. The red color symbolizes his proud Kenyan heritage, paying tribute to the Nike Kenya suit, running shoe insoles, and performance gear he wore at the time.

His winning record that year, “12:52.79,” is printed on the insole of one pair, alongside his motto “No Human is Limited” in the other.

The collection is available now in select regions of Nike’s brick-and-click stores.

Elsewhere, check out the official goods from Hiroshi Fujiwara’s FRAGMENT UNIVERSITY.
