On 3 October in Paris, Miu Miu, Prada’s playful and experimental sister company, pulled the curtains on their Miu Miu x New Balance 530. The pair debuted on the runway in two color options: a soothing Sand and a calming Chocolate Brown.

The collaborative pair showcases a chunkier upper and a lower-profile sole, a slight deviation from the model’s blueprint. Frayed details were also introduced, a signature element of the ongoing collaboration, albeit in a more subtle form compared to previous iterations. Completing the aesthetic, each colorway is embellished with a prominent “MIU MIU” branding and comes adorned with laces made from both leather and cotton.

Exemplifying the convergence of athletic functionality and high fashion luxury, the pair will be sold exclusively at Miu Miu—although it’s unlikely the pair will hit shelves until the spring. Do stay tuned for more details to surface regarding its release and price point, along with new images!
