[Update 3 Oct 2023] Drawing inspiration from the lush landscapes of Malaysia, ranging from vibrant flora to the towering peaks, the collection will feature four t-shirts, to be released exclusively at SneakerLAH. Over the weekend, Malaysia’s premier streetwear label FUTUREMADE STUDIO (FTMD.) and KEEN Malaysia teased a collaboration on their respective social media accounts.

Therein, a vector figure holds the latter’s logo as a surfboard presiding over the FTMD. imprint. Neither parties have offered much else besides the cryptic post but it is enough to pique curiosities.

What model will be tapped as a canvas? Our guesses are as good as yours. It could presumably be the brand staple UNEEK sandal but the American shoemakers do have other recognizable silhouettes in their catalog such as the Newport.

It would be exciting to see how FTMD. will apply their own take as gorpcore specialists. It’s one big collaboration after another, succeeding their recent one with Vans and Reebok.

There’s nothing to ascertain this but the collaboration could be unveiled at SneakerLAH 2023 where KEEN has announced to set up shop. Nevertheless, stay tuned! More details should emerge in the coming days.
