Brooklyn’s WOODstack Presents the adidas Ozelia “The Better Days”
The boutique's first collaboration with the Three Stripes.
WOODstack, through their nine stores across the NYC tri-state area, have done well in providing an innovative retail experience, and in forging connections and relationships with their patrons. Well enough to score their first collaboration with the Three Stripes.
Thus, the WOODstack x adidas Ozelia “The Better Days”. The silhouette is one of adidas’ latest, taking cues from the daring, avant-garde sneakers popular in the ’90s. Since 2021, it has seen a variety of inline colorways, but no member of the wider adidas family has collaborated with it—’til now.
WOODstack outfits the model in a palette that stands for community while also portending better times to come. Additionally, the color scheme is also a nod to their identity.
The brown and gold is a direct homage to their namesake. The splashes of green represents their women’s exclusive sister brand, WOODstack IVY. And the footbed inspired by tree rings, honors their years of expansion as well as an allusion to their kids boutique.
The pair is scheduled for release on 24 September across all their brick-and-click stores with an RRP of US$100.
