Mowalola Gives the Beats by Dre Solo3 Wireless Headphones a New Look
A must-cop for the fashion and music lovers alike.
Nigeria-born, London-based fashion designer Mowalola recently debuted her Spring/Summer 2024 looks at London Fashion Week with a collection influenced by David Cronenberg’s 1995 suspense thriller, Crash. Maintaining her presence in the news cycle, comes the unveiling of her label’s Beats by Dre collaboration, reimagining the Solo3 Wireless headphones.
The headphones adopt a bright silver colorway embellished with scratch marks, with branding elements softly carved at the top of the band, and the recognizable red Beats logo on the exterior of each ear. Additionally, the headphones’ cups and interiors are lined with soft white leather.
The collaboration is centered on the Mowalola’s impact on the city’s nightlife scene and club culture. The campaign images features JT of hip-hop duo City Girls, one of the designer’s frequent collaborators.
The headphones will be released in the UK and North America on 21 September with a price tag of US$199.
