The Japanese footwear makers has announced a new release date on 15 December, where you can expect to find it on their website and via select retailers. [Update 12 Dec 2023] For those who didn’t get to attend ComplexCon, there’s good news. The GALLERY DEPT. x ASICS GT-2160 is dropping today via the boutique’s website, at the same retail price of US$250. Act fast though, expect these to sell out almost immediately at 12PM (EST)!

It seems LA-based label GALLERY DEPT. and Japanese sportswear giant ASICS have prepared some exciting offerings for the coming months. Following a previous GEL-1130 model, new images of an upcoming GT-2160 collaboration have now emerged.

Dressed in a silver and blue color scheme, close-up shots of the pair showcase a fairly conventional constructive approach on the coveted model, which includes a mesh foundation, leather overlays and a technical outsole. Hints of its collaborative identity come in a form of GALLERY DEPT. tags and co-branded insoles, before GT-2160 profiles rounds off the design.

Additional details have yet to be disclosed at this time, but the GALLERY DEPT. x ASICS GT-2160 is expected to arrive in the coming months as part of the FW23 seasonal releases. Rest assured we will keep you informed here when more info surfaces.
