There’s no footwear at present that’s as ubiquitous as the Nike Dunk Low, reimagining the model ad nauseam in an attempt to keep it fresh. As with any remake of an iconic silhouette, it’s usually a hit-or-miss; and as proven with the titular Dunk Low Twist.

They debuted earlier this year as a women’s exclusive. While the “Panda” colorway has been the ire of many, another classic colorway—the “University Blue”—might save the day.

Photon Dust, University Blue, and White forms the pair’s palette, addressing its full leather body and mesh interior. Photon Dust serves as the base layer juxtaposed against the University Blue overlays, laces, and rubber outsole.

Some deviations from the GE includes the distinct tongue branding, TPU bumpers at the toe and heel, and a cushioned heel tab in addition to extended Swooshes of Yoon Ahn’s design.

There isn’t a firm release date yet but the pair’s projected to arrive in the spring next year with a US$125 price tag. More details should arrive within the coming months, along with official images. Stay tuned!
