Following Assefa’s historic win, adidas will finally be making the Adizero Adios PRo Evo 1 available to the general public via its CONFIRMED app today. The lightest racing supershoe that’s ever been made featuring the latest running innovation from the Three Stripes will be yours for US$500.

Weighing at only 138 grams, the adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 is expected to be the company’s lightest road racer to date, 40% lighter than any model that’s preceded it. It’s also embedded with the record-breaking technology employed in the race-winning Adizero Adios Pro 3.

The redesigned geometry of the cutting-edge pair sees the forefoot rocker uniquely positioned at 60% of the shoe’s length, inherently promoting forward motion. The lightweight mesh upper offers comfort and breathability, while the innovative technology on the outsole delivers maximum traction.
