Nike has always been at the cutting-edge of the footwear industry, whether it be in pushing the boundaries of their performance shoes, or in the advancement of their sustainable efforts. For their latest iteration of their React design, they materialize both on the Interact Run.

It debuts in a stealthy “Triple Black” adorning its lightweight, knitted upper. Integrated as part of its design, white QR codes are imprinted on the tongue that direct users to their sustainability page online.

Disparate material finishes demarcates the front and rear of the upper, with the forefoot pattern reminiscent of the React Phantom Run Flyknit 2. The hallmark Swooshes clandestinely takes its place on the medial, while the gleaming mudguard becomes a canvas for the embroidered Swoosh on the lateral.

Further down, the outsole underfoot refers to an old Nike blueprint with its waffle iron pattern, while taking a page from their UNDERCOVER collaborations on the swooping heel.

There’s no release date yet but they are expected to arrive sometime within the year. Stay tuned!
