The Nike Air Footscape Woven Premium “Black Croc” Is Scheduled for a Holiday Release
A hybrid silhouette that borrows elements from the Air Footscape and Air Woven.
Hybrid designs are a hit-or-miss, as seen on the experiments Jordan Brand has been running on their retros. No matter your opinion on the titular Air Footscape Woven, whether you’re a fan of the woven motif or not, whether you’re a fan of the faux croc leather finish, it’s definitely an acquired taste. And like it or not, the pair is making a comeback this holiday season.
Black, Pale Ivory, and Desert Ochre form the silhouette’s palette. Faux crocodile leather takes the place of the standard suede for its upper. The signature asymmetrical lacing design is a mainstay, nevertheless, accented by Desert Ochre lining.
As for its branding elements, Pale Ivory lays claim on the embroidery on the tongues and heels, with the Swoosh imprint on the footbed in contrast against its Black backdrop. Off-White midsoles and Black waffle-patterned outsoles complete the look.
There’s no firm release date disclosed yet but they are expected to arrive in the holiday season with an RRP of US$160. Stay tuned, more details should emerge within the coming weeks!
