The Mizuno Wave Prophecy LS, a fan favorite, has reappeared online in the coveted black-on-black colorway, but probably not for long.

The Wave Prophecy LS “Black” is arguably one of the brand’s most daring silhouette to date, featuring a futuristic, hollowed-out sole unit and tonal leather on mesh upper. The Infinity Wave outsole offers the highest level of support, while the leather cage keeps the forefoot snug.

Mizuno clearly understands that the Wave Prophecy LS’s larger-than-life makeup contributes to its appeal, and here the Japanese label keeps things as they should be. The re-release of the black colorway was also a relatively low key affair, but the model’s already sold out at some retailers. Some pairs are still available at Asphalt Gold, for those who want to lay their hands on it.
