The Palace x Salomon XT-Wings 2 Will Arrive on 1 September
To be released in a "Black" and "White" option.
[Update 29 Aug 2023] Everything’s moving pretty quickly for this Palace and Salomon collaboration. In the 24 hours since it was first leaked, new images and important details have surfaced.
Officially dubbed the Palace x Salomon XT-Wings 2, the silhouette will be availed in a “Black” and “White” option. The two-piece capsule will drop on 1 September in the US and UK, with a release in Japan and China on 2 September. They’ll be available at Palace’s brick-and-click stores for US$160.
Till D-Day comes, enjoy the campaign images featuring running icon Courtney Dauwalter.
Palace recently dominated the news cycle with the tease and release of their McDonald’s apparel collaboration. While its inertia slows, the London-based streetwear purveyors switches up their focus towards the footwear front, bringing the world their outrageous colorways on fan-favorite models. Once more with Salomon, ascertaining the collaboration via Instagram Stories.
This isn’t their first rodeo with the French outdoor specialists, having worked on the latter’s XA Comp ADV and XT-6 prior. The aforementioned pairs were brandished with a polychromatic palette, thus making the upcoming take relatively subdued.
The teaser video depicts two pairs: one in black, the other white. Although neither parties have shared any word about what the model is, from what’s discernible, the heel alludes to the XT-Wings 2. It makes sense since Salomon has been opening the pair up to collaborators. Most recently, with END. and JJJJound.
More details should emerge within the coming days or weeks. When new information does arrive, expect to see an update here at this very page!
