New Balance’s 2002R Mules Are Available Now in “Black” and “White”

If the comfort the silhouette originally provided isn't enough, it gets even cozier with the open-heel design.

From the launch of the renowned Protection Pack series, New Balance’s 2002R has been at the forefront of their offerings. It exemplifies the brand’s reputation for harmony between art and science, aesthetics and comfort.

With the integration of the open-heel design, the 2002R is transformed into a mule as ready for the spring, as it were for the summer. Providing a cozy option even as part of the world cools.

Arriving in a “Black” and “White/Sea Salt” option, both pairs arrive in a monochromatic, uniform colorway with tonal renderings distinguishing its parts.

The New Balance Running logo on the tongue and the N-Ergy imprint on the lateral midsole contrast against its surroundings in opposing colors.

Additionally, the sole configuration taken from the 860v2 has the same ABZORB SBS cushioning to provide the comfort the Boston shoemaker has been known for. This is in addition to the laceless style, which makes it simple to slip on and off.

The pair is available now on New Balance and select retailers for US$105.
