The adidas NMD S1 Sock Introduced in a Stealthy “Core Black”
A women's exclusive pair for a nice addition to any fashion-forward fit.
The adidas NMD debuted in 2015 and was quickly elevated in stature within fashion and sneaker culture. In addition to the endorsement of high-profile celebrities like Ye and Pharrell, its repute was also helped by its unique amalgamation of urban flair and cutting-edge technology, the confluence of vintage influences and contemporary design.
Further expanding the line, adidas adds this women’s exclusive NMD S1 Sock to the NMD line. Reminiscent of the City Sock, the titular pair also feature an expanded sock-like neck with pull tabs, along with an all-Black seamless knitted top.
TPU plugs are incorporated into the BOOST-cushioned midsole, faithful to its predecessor’s original design. A secure fit and responsive cushioning are introduced through the all-Black rubber outsole, formed by the iconic Trefoil logo.
There’s no firm release date but they’re expected to arrive sometime within the fall, with an RRP of US$220. Stay tuned for more details!
The adidas NMD have been reinvented and reimagined a number of times since 2015. If you’re a big fan of the silhouette to this day, there’s a large collection of inline colorways and limited-edition designs you can see on the SNKRDUNK App.
