3 August marks the fifth anniversary of Mac Miller’s fifth studio album, “Swimming”. To celebrate the album and honor the late rapper, Vans is teaming up with his estate to release a Vans Authentic dedicated to the rapper.

The Vans Authentic, for the most part, looks exactly the same as its black-and-white staple. A Yin-Yang symbol is imprinted on the toe box, along with a circular ring of text stating the context of the collaboration.

The midsole also features commemorative text all around, reading “MAC MILLER 1992 TIL ∞”, symbolising the rapper’s birth year and lasting impact of his music. The shoe will also come in a special packaging.

Vans has also announced that parts of the proceed will go towards the Mac Miller Fund, a nonprofit organization that provides support towards youth from undeserved communities.

The Mac Miller x Vans Authentic “Swimming” will release tomorrow, 3 August, exclusively via Mac Miller’s website.
