Air Jordans have far transcended their basketball pedigree. Their presence more prevalent in the lifestyle realm. Hence, Jordan Brand’s expansion of their SE (Special Edition) roster, subsuming the titular, fan-favorite Air Jordan Retro 5 in “Sail”.

Sail, Black, Light Orewood Brown, and Coconut Milk make up the model’s palette. The first forms the base layer with Coconut Milk addressing the iconic translucent mesh panels on the quarter and eyestays. Black and Light Orewood Brown work in tandem highlighting the sole unit underfoot, which also includes the iconic serrated graphic on the midsoles.

The Air Jordan Retro 5 SE “Sail” will be released on either 13 or 20 April 2024 via select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike—both online and in-store. A pair in men’s sizing costs US$210 while one in GS sizing goes for US$160.
