The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Sequoia” Is Ready for the Fall
A colorway complementary to the brown leaves of autumn.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 first debuted in 2011 but its resurgence late last year coincided with the market’s palate for retrofuturistic runners. Now, the model is enjoying its zenith with the Swoosh consistently releasing new colorways. The latest being the titular “Sequoia”.
Cargo Khaki, Sequoia, Sail, and Metallic Silver work in tandem to dress the pair’s mesh base layer, leather overlays, and the TPU cage on the quarter and heel counter. Its hallmarks are a mainstay with the reflective 3M strips lining the pair on the mudguard, midfoot, and heel.
The staple Bill Bowerman imprint presides over the footbed as well, with the shoe anchored by a Zoom Air sole unit.
There’s no release date disclosed yet but they are projected to be released sometime in the fall for US$160. Stay tuned, more details shouldn’t be far behind with the official images already released.
