The Nike Dunk High SE “Baroque Brown” Employs Some Travis Scott Signatures
Travis Scott to this generation was what FKA Kanye was to the generation prior: a cultural icon. He’s left his mark on several industries including food via McDonald’s and even gaming via Fortnite. But his influence remains the strongest in the footwear landscape.
His long-running partnership with Nike and its Jordan Brand subsidiary is easily one of, if not the, most successful partnerships in fashion. His association alone summoning interest and demand. Such is the case for the titular Nike Dunk High SE “Baroque Brown”, which employs a palette akin to Scott’s Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Mocha”.
This iteration employs a familiar palette of Mystic Red, Baroque Brown, Sesame, and Coconut Milk. The toe box, quarter panels, and collars all constructed with premium nubuck in Brown, while the overlays arrive in Sesame.
Mystic Red accents the exposed stitching, heel tabs, making the aesthetic familiarity with the “Reverse Mocha” more vivid. Finishing touches are applied through the Brown mesh tongues, Coconut Milk Swooshes, branded tongue tags, and a rubber outsole with a Nike Basketball design embossed.
There’s no release date yet but they are expected to arrive within the year. Stay tuned for more details!
