We can all agree that the Nike Dunk Low has become ubiquitous in the Swoosh’s arsenal of sneakers. Over the past three years the Dunk hype has proliferated exponentially, and even until today we still see some of its most popular iterations such as the “Panda” flying off the shelves despite frequent restocks. This time though, Nike is set to give the Dunk Low a glow-up, and in quite literal terms.

@masterchefian on Instagram gives us a first look at the upcoming Nike Dunk Low “Glow in the Dark”. As the name suggests, the titular model boasts a boisterous volt-iridescent colorway across its uppers as well as on its outsole underfoot.

Accentuating its bright uppers is a blacked out Swoosh logo, along with a vibrant orange heel tab branding that pops with the overall color scheme of the shoe. According to @masterchefian‘s video, the uppers do not exactly glow without the use of UV lighting, however the outsoles still do, making it a statement piece even under the cover of darkness. You can take a closer look at the glow in the dark effect on the top slider above.

While release details are scanty at the moment, you can expect this exciting pair to drop somewhere this year at select retailers and on Nike SNKRS. Stay tuned as we’ll bring you the latest updates as soon as we get them.
