The ASICS GT-2160 has been a fixture in the news cycle lately with reinterpretations and recent releases from AIREI, Dime, and Cecillie Bahnsen. Succeeding the three will be Australia-based boutique Above the Clouds.

The collaboration marks their third effort together after a 10th anniversary pair celebrating the GEL-1090 in 2020, and the SKYCOURT in 2021.

Unveiled by @cakenontcrumbs, the collaborative pair sports a metallic silver lining, two earthy green hues, and calm blue accents, reminiscent of the earth below and the sky above. Its construction features a staple mesh collar and heel, contrasted against a translucent TPE midfoot and toebox.

Aesthetically, it’s further adorned with a a collab-specific imprint on the insoles, bronze lace keepers, and cream laces.

There’re no release details yet but more information should surface within the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
