New Balance is partnering with Blue Bottle Coffee for a–surprise–running sneaker. Images of the Blue Bottle Coffee x New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v12 first surfaced online a few days back and the collaborative sneaker prominently dons the shade of light blue that is now synonymous with the American cult coffee chain.

The Blue Bottle x New Balance Fresh Foam 1080v12 features an un-dyed white knitted upper with light blue accents appearing throughout the shoe. The lateral “N” logo is outlined in the blue, contrasting the white upper; more blue appears on the tongue label and liner. Blue Bottle and New Balance co-branding can also be found on the tongue and insoles.

Blue Bottle’s iconic logo is embroidered on the the heel tab, subtly nodding towards the coffee brand and giving it a IYKYK twist. If you want a piece of this special edition shoes, don’t miss out on its launch come 1 August and it will set you back by US$170.
