The Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG “What the SoleFly” May Be Released
Teased more than a year ago, the shoes may see the light of day soon.
SoleFly head honcho Carlos Prieto has teased three new upcoming projects with Jordan Brand over the course of the past few weeks. The Miami-based boutique seems to be working on a Frankenstein-esque “What The” styling of the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG, in addition to an Air Diamond Turf-inspired Air Jordan 8 and a chocolate Air Jordan 10.
It’s been more than a year since Prieto teased a closeup of the titular pair’s sample. The design seems to be reaching its final form with him teasing another look.
The iconic “What The” series is known for amalgamating prior designs into a single pair hence its chaotic mishmash aesthetic. The motifs are an allusion to their previous collabs such as the Jumpman signature elephant print and disparate color palette seen in the latest mockup.
There’s no word to ascertain whether they’ll see the light of day but with the pair having been teased several times now, there’s reason to be optimistic. Nevertheless, stay tuned for more details!
